Step-by-Step: How to Post a Service Offer

1. Log In with the Right Role

Ensure your account is set to either:

  • Service Professional

  • Estate Agency (with a verified agency profile)

If you're logged in under a different role, switch it via:

  • Click your profile icon

  • Go to Profile Settings > Switch Role

  • Select the correct role

2. Complete Your Profile

Go to the Profile section and fill out:

  • Your name or agency name

  • Description, job title, and company info

  • Contact details such as business email and phone

  • Upload a profile photo or agency logo

  • Optional: Add ID verification for increased trust

A complete profile helps build credibility and improves how your offers are displayed.

3. Go to “Leads” and Set Up Your Services

Click on the Leads tab from your dashboard. This is where you configure what services you offer and where you operate.

Fill out your lead settings by:

  • Selecting your service categories

  • Adding the locations or regions you serve

  • Choosing your preferred lead type (one-off jobs, ongoing support, etc.)

This setup is required to appear in service matches and receive leads.

4. Activate Your Offer

Once you've added your services and coverage areas in Lead Settings, your offers become active and will:

  • Appear on your public profile

  • Be matched with incoming service requests from users

  • Trigger lead notifications when there’s a match

What Happens Next?

  • You’ll get matched with users who need your services

  • They can send you direct enquiries or requests

  • You can respond through Matchouse chat and negotiate terms

Leads are sorted by location, service type, and how closely your offer matches the user's needs.

Estate Agencies Can Offer Services Too

Verified agency accounts can also post offers such as:

  • EPCs, floorplans, and professional photography

  • Inventory and check-in/out services

  • Pre-tenancy cleaning and inspections

These services are managed through the agency’s Leads and Team sections, not as individual profiles.

FAQs

Can I post multiple service types?

Yes — you can add multiple service categories in your lead settings and manage offers by area or specialisation.

Can I remove or pause my offer?

Yes. Simply remove or adjust categories and locations in Lead Settings.

I registered as a Service Professional and chose “estate agent” — do I get agency tools?
