Step 1: Go to the Dashboard

  • Click your profile icon in the top-right corner

  • Select Dashboard

  • Go to the Properties tab to see your active listings

Step 2: Select the Listing You Want to Manage

Click on any property to open its details, including:

  • Listing title and status (active, paused, removed)

  • Property type and pricing

  • Leads and ongoing messages

🔄 Important: Major edits may trigger a brief content review for quality control.

Step 3: Take Action

You’ll see three key options:

Update the title, pricing, availability, description, images, or features

Pause Listing

Hide the listing temporarily from search without losing your data

Remove Listing

Permanently delete the listing (cannot be recovered)

(Estate Agents & Service Professionals)

  1. Go to Lead Settings
    From your dashboard, click on Leads, then open the Lead Settings section.

  2. Edit or Remove Your Offer

    • Modify your service categories

    • Adjust your location coverage

    • Change your descriptions or pricing

    • Uncheck services or remove locations to hide offers

⏸ Pause vs. Remove – What’s the Difference?

Pause

Temporarily hides the listing or offer. You can resume it at any time.

Remove

Permanently deletes the item. It will not appear again and cannot be undone.

✅ Tip: Use “Pause” if you’re temporarily unavailable but plan to relist soon.

Once your listing or offer is active, Matchouse’s smart matching engine begins working instantly.

  • On your public profile

  • In the discovery system (filtered by location/category)

  • In user dashboards where matches exist

🔐 Listing Review (If Required)

Some listings or edits may be briefly reviewed before going live:

  • Missing key info (e.g. no rent, blurry photos, blank description)

  • Flagged or spammy content

  • Large pricing or title changes

⏱ Review usually takes under 1 hour. You'll get a notification when it’s live.

⚠️ Important Notes on Platform Use

  • Property listings can only be created by Landlords and Estate Agents

  • Service offers can only be posted by Estate Agents and Service Professionals

  • Any role can request a service, but only verified agencies and professionals (with correct lead settings) will be matched to them

  • Service offers allow you to list your services/business and get leads — without waiting for a specific service request

  • Boosting your profile increases your exposure and lead potential

  • All user actions are monitored to ensure safety, authenticity, and to prevent spam

Service offers are managed differently. They’re controlled via your Lead Settings, not the main dashboard.

Step 1: Go to Lead Settings

  • Click your profile icon

  • Select Leads from the menu

  • Click on Lead Settings

This section allows you to manage all service-related preferences.

Step 2: Update or Remove Your Service Offer

Update your selected categories, service description, pricing, and coverage areas

Uncheck service types or remove coverage locations to stop receiving matched leads

All updates here are reflected instantly in:

  • Your public profile

  • The smart matching system

  • What leads you’re shown or contacted for


📉 How Does This Impact Smart Matching?

If you pause or remove a listing or service:

  • You will no longer appear in search for that listing or service

  • You will stop receiving new leads related to it

  • Your profile remains active, and you can still manage other listings or services

To maximise your visibility and responses, keep your listings and offers up to date and live.


🔁 Can I Reuse or Republish a Listing Later?

  • Paused Listings: Yes — just resume them from your dashboard

  • Removed Listings: No — these are permanently deleted. You must create a new one if needed


🙋 Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit my listing after someone has contacted me?

Yes. Editing the content does not affect your ongoing conversations. All existing leads remain visible in your inbox.

Will edits go live immediately?

In most cases, yes. However, some edits (like pricing or flagged content) may require a quick review by the Matchouse moderation team.

Can I hide a service offer without deleting it?

Yes. In Lead Settings, simply deselect the category or location. You can re-enable it anytime.

What happens to paused listings?

They’re hidden from discovery but saved in your dashboard. You can resume them with one click.

Can I update my listing after receiving leads?

Yes. You can update descriptions, add photos, or pause the listing. Past leads won’t be affected.

Can I pause a service offer temporarily?

Yes. Simply remove the category or location from Lead Settings to hide it.

Why am I not getting leads?

Double-check:

  • Your listing or service is live

  • Your profile is complete and verified

  • You’ve selected the right categories and areas

  • You have clear pricing and a strong description

Can I boost my visibility?
Yes. Boosted profiles and offers gain extra reach across the platform and are more likely to appear in smart matching.
