2. 🏡 Can I Post a Property Without Making It Public?
Not exactly. Matchouse doesn’t support private property listings. Instead, your profile powers the smart matching system, which means:
You can be matched with users without a visible listing.
Quality profiles and service descriptions increase discoverability.
You don’t need to publish a public property for users to find you.
3. 📍How Does Location Affect Listing Visibility?
Our algorithm uses your selected location, category, and intent to match you with the right users.
Property listings must include the correct address/postcode.
Service professionals must add their coverage areas in Lead Settings.
The more specific and relevant your location data, the better your matches.
4. 🛠 How Do I Edit or Remove a Listing?
Property Listings: Go to your Dashboard > Properties to manage listings.
Service Offers: Navigate to Lead Settings to update service categories or remove offers.
You can pause or remove listings anytime. Pausing keeps data saved, while removing deletes it completely.
5. ✨ How Does Smart Matching Work?
Matchouse uses a smart AI-driven matching system that connects users based on intent, location, and profile strength — not just keyword searches.
Our matching engine looks at:
Your selected user role and goals (e.g. renting, offering a service)
Profile quality including activity, verification, and reviews
Category and location for properties or services
Behavioural signals and platform trust history
💡 The better and more complete your profile, the more relevant matches you'll receive. Verified users and active profiles are given higher visibility across the platform.
6. 💬 Can I See Who Viewed My Listing?
Not directly. However, you’ll receive:
Real-time alerts when someone sends an offer or messages you
Lead notifications when someone is matched to your listing or service
Engagement analytics in your dashboard (coming soon)
7. ✍️ Can I List the Same Property Twice?
No. Duplicate listings are not allowed and will be flagged for moderation. Instead:
You can update or relist a paused property
Estate agencies managing multiple branches can segment listings by office
8. 👥 Can I Post Listings on Behalf of Someone Else?
Only if:
You are a verified estate agency managing listings for clients.
Or you have permission from a landlord or business to post on their behalf.
Matchouse requires accurate contact and ownership details for all listings.

Use clear titles and high-quality photos (for properties)
Set competitive prices or service rates
Add detail to descriptions (e.g. timeframe, specialisation)
