Why Use Matchouse as a Landlord?

Matchouse is built to give landlords more visibility, better matches, and easier access to trusted professionals — without needing multiple platforms or paying upfront fees.

With a landlord account, you can:

  • List or share properties (rent or sale)

  • Get matched with tenants, buyers, or estate agents

  • Send or receive direct offers

  • Manage conversations and services in one place

  • Book trusted service professionals for property tasks

Step-by-Step: Setting Up as a Landlord

Step 1: Create a Matchouse Account

  • Visit matchouse.com

  • Sign up using a valid email

  • Choose the “Landlord” role

  • Verify your email to activate your account

Already have an account under a different role? Just switch to “Landlord” from your profile settings.

Step 2: Set Up Your Profile

  • Add your name or business name

  • Upload a photo or logo (optional, but builds trust)

  • Enter your operating location or area

  • Write a short description about your rental or property style

  • Optionally verify your phone or ID to increase visibility

Listing vs. Sharing a Property

As a landlord, you have two flexible ways to promote your property:

Option

List a Property

Your property will appear in public search and get matched automatically

Share a Property Only

Keep your listing private. We’ll match it quietly with verified users

You can choose the method that suits your strategy, and switch or update it anytime.

How to List or Share Your Property

  1. Go to your Landlord Dashboard

  2. Click “List a Property” or “Share a Property”

  3. Fill in key details:

    • Property type (flat, house, studio, etc.)

    • Number of bedrooms and bathrooms

    • Rent or sale price

    • Location and availability

    • Property photos and short description

  4. Click Publish or Submit for Matching

You can manage multiple properties from the same dashboard.

How Smart Matching Works

Once your listing is active, Matchouse will:

  • Match your property with verified tenant or buyer profiles

  • Notify you when there's a good match

  • Let you view their profile and chat before sending or accepting offers

  • Keep all communication and negotiation in one secure space

Booking Trusted Services for Your Property

Need help preparing your property? You can book:

  • EPCs and Gas Safety Certificates

  • End-of-tenancy cleaning

  • Painting, repairs, or handyman work

  • Property photography and more

Just go to your dashboard and post a service request, or search for local professionals by category.

Can I Work with Estate Agents?

Yes — if you want help letting or selling your property, you can connect with verified estate agents through Matchouse.

However, agents:

  • Do not have direct access to your landlord account or listings

  • Cannot edit or manage your property dashboard unless you invite them into the conversation

If you’d like an agent to assist:

  • Start a chat or service request from your dashboard

  • Add the agent to the property conversation

  • Share details, instructions, or documents directly in the chat

🔐 This keeps your account secure while allowing you to collaborate on your own terms.
