Matchouse gives you the freedom to switch roles anytime — whether you're listing property, offering services, or managing an agency. No need for multiple logins. One account does it all.

Why Switching Roles Matters

Your selected role determines:

  • What tools appear in your dashboard

  • How your profile is matched with others

  • What actions you can take (e.g. posting jobs, listing properties, accepting leads)

But you’re never locked in. You can switch between roles as your needs change — or even use multiple roles at the same time.


How to Switch Roles

  1. Log in to your Matchouse account

  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner

  3. Go to Profile Settings

  4. Click Switch Role

  5. Choose the new role you’d like to use:

    • Landlord

    • Tenant

    • Buyer

    • Estate Agent

    • Estate Agency

    • Service Professional

    • Service Seeker

Your dashboard will instantly update to reflect your new role.


Important: Switching to “Estate Agency” Role

If you switch to the Estate Agency role, you’ll be prompted to either:

  • Create a new agency by submitting a registration form for verification

  • Or join an existing agency if you’ve been invited or work with one already

What Happens When You Switch Roles

  • Your listings, messages, and activity are all saved

  • The interface updates to match your selected role

  • You can switch back to any previous role at any time

  • Profile matching and offers are tailored to your current role

FAQs

Will I lose anything when I switch roles?

No. All your listings, messages, and history stay attached to your account. Switching roles only changes your dashboard and active tools.


Can I use multiple roles at the same time?

Yes. You can switch between roles as often as needed — your data and activity under each role are always saved.


Do I need to verify again after switching?

No. If you've already verified your email, phone, or ID, it remains valid. For estate agency roles, only the business needs to be verified — personal ID is optional for agency owners.
