Why Roles Matter

When you create an account on Matchouse, you'll choose a role that matches how you want to use the platform. Your role controls:

What tools appear in your dashboard
How you're matched with other users
What kind of listings or jobs you can post
What kind of leads or services you can access

But you’re never limited. You can switch roles or use multiple roles at any time from your profile settings.

Available User Roles on Matchouse

Buyer	Post your buying preferences and get matched with homes on or off the market.

Estate Agency	Create a verified business profile, invite team members, and access advanced tools.
Service Professional	Offer any service (property, digital, creative, etc.) and get matched with requests.
Service Seeker	Post jobs or service needs and get matched with trusted professionals.

Special Role: Estate Agency vs Estate Agent

Matchouse supports both individual estate agents and registered estate agencies. Here’s how they differ:

Profile	Built for personal branding & reviews	Built to showcase the agency, team, and services

Switching Between Roles

You can switch between any roles at any time:

Click your profile icon
Go to Profile Settings
Click Switch Role
Select your new role
Your dashboard and tools will update accordingly

Do I need ID verification for each role?

No. ID verification is optional and tied to your account, not each role. However, agency verification is required for creating a public agency profile.

Can I keep my reviews if I leave an agency?

Reviews under your agency profile stay with the agency. If you want to build your own career portfolio, create a personal estate agent profile to collect individual reviews.
