Matchouse chat keeps conversations connected to the relevant profile, property, service lead or booking.

Send a message

  1. Open Chat or select a message action from a supported profile, listing, lead or booking.
  2. Open the conversation.
  3. Write and send your text message.

The current standard composer supports text. Do not rely on generic file or media attachments being available.

Conversation information

Open chat information to review participants and any linked property, service, lead or booking status. Matchouse shows unread indicators and read state where supported.

Locked service conversations

A service-lead chat can remain locked until the provider purchases access or the requester accepts the relevant offer. Follow the action shown in that conversation.

Property actions

Property chat can include Arrange viewing. Property owners and agencies may also have an address-sharing action.

Safe messaging

Never send passwords, login codes, identity documents or full card details. Report suspicious content or contact support with the conversation details.
