Manage Matchouse Notifications
Choose the Matchouse alerts and post activity emails you receive, and understand role-aware and team notifications.
Last updated About 1 month ago
Notifications help you respond to messages, leads, bookings, reviews, property activity and social interactions. Matchouse filters alerts so they are relevant to your roles, permissions and preferences.
Review notification settings
Open your account notification settings and review the available categories. Options can differ by role because a customer, professional, business member and agency member do not manage the same activity.
Choose the alerts that help you act on time without enabling categories you do not use.
Post activity emails
The post activity preference controls email updates for supported interactions with your posts. Turn it on if you want email reminders about relevant post activity, or turn it off if in-app notifications are enough.
Changing email preferences does not remove existing activity from Matchouse.
Booking and lead notifications
Professionals and businesses should keep booking and lead alerts enabled when they actively accept work.
- Booking alerts can require action before a displayed deadline, particularly when an individual booking must be unlocked with credits.
- Lead alerts depend on your selected services, exclusions, locations and radius.
- Calendar and appointment updates help you track changes or cancellations.
Keep your booking hours and lead preferences current as well as the notifications themselves.
Team-aware notifications
For a Professional Business or agency, Matchouse can send an alert to the people whose roles and permissions make it relevant. Some business events can fan out to the appropriate team instead of going only to the owner.
Review team roles when somebody joins, changes responsibility or leaves. Accurate permissions reduce missed work and unnecessary alerts.
Review invitation notifications
In a Professional Business, review invitation activity can follow the individual Service Professional connected to the customer experience. This helps the right professional see and manage the relevant review journey.
If notifications are missing
- Check the notification category in Matchouse.
- Confirm you are viewing the correct Matchouse role.
- Check the business or agency permission if the alert is team-related.
- Allow browser or device notifications for Matchouse.
- Check the email spam or junk folder for email alerts.
- Confirm the account email address is current and verified.
- Refresh the app or install the latest version.
Mobile operating systems can pause notifications when battery or background activity restrictions are enabled. Review the device settings if Matchouse settings are correct but push alerts do not arrive.
Use the notification inbox and filters
Open Notifications to see the activity connected to your current Matchouse role. Use the filter chips to focus on All, Unread, Following, Messages, Bookings, Leads, Reviews or Account. Unread totals on the chips help you see which area needs attention.
Open a notification to follow its supported destination and mark it as read. Use Mark all read when you have reviewed the inbox. Older notifications load as you continue scrolling. The settings button opens the notification preferences described above.
