Set Up Booking Availability and Payment Preferences

Service professionals and professional businesses can configure how customers book them.

Open booking configuration

Go to Booking, then Configuration. Set your timezone, currency, tax display, slot interval, minimum lead time and booking opening hours. Booking opening hours are separate from the hours shown on a public business profile.

Choose how requests are accepted

Turn Automatically accept bookings on for immediate confirmation, or off if you want to review requests. Some extra bookings unlocked with credits have a two-hour confirmation window.

Choose payment timing

Online payments require an eligible connected payout account. You can collect payment before or after the appointment. When collecting upfront, you can set a deposit percentage. A zero deposit can be used to save a card without collecting a deposit.

Control extra booking spend

If you use automatic extra-booking unlocks, set daily and monthly credit limits. You can also enable card-based automatic credit top-ups with your consent.

Review all settings before accepting live bookings. Matchouse shows the applicable plan limits and charges in the app.
