How to Create, Edit and Delete a Post

Create a Matchouse post with text, photos or a poll, add disclosures, then edit or delete it.

Posts let you share updates, questions and useful information with the Matchouse community. You can publish from Explore and manage your own posts later.

Create a post

  1. Open Explore.
  2. Select the post composer.
  3. Write your post. Text can contain up to 5,000 characters.
  4. Optionally add up to 10 photos, or create a poll. A poll and photos cannot be used in the same post.
  5. If relevant, turn on Paid partnership or Made with AI.
  6. Select Post.

Create a poll

Add a question, at least two answer options and a duration. People can vote once while the poll is open.

Edit or delete your post

Open the menu on a post you own. Select Edit to change its text, or Delete to remove it. Editing does not replace the original photos or poll.

Before you publish

  • Do not post private contact, identity or payment information.
  • Use accurate disclosures for paid or AI-assisted content.
  • Make sure your post follows the Matchouse Community Standards.
