Request and Manage a Property Valuation

Request a free agency valuation, understand what is shared and manage sales or lettings valuation enquiries as an agency.

Last updated About 22 hours ago

Matchouse lets a seller or landlord request a free, no-obligation property valuation from an Estate Agency profile. The agency receives the submitted contact and property details in its Valuation requests area so it can follow up directly.

Before requesting a valuation

Review the agency’s public profile, location, team, reviews and services. A valuation request is an enquiry, not an instruction to market the property and not a guaranteed valuation outcome.

Only submit contact details you are comfortable sharing with the selected agency.

Request a free valuation

  1. Open the public Matchouse profile for the Estate Agency you want to contact.
  2. Choose Request a free valuation.
  3. Enter your name, phone number and email address.
  4. Add the property address.
  5. Choose whether the request concerns a sale or letting.
  6. Select the property type and the closest reason for the valuation.
  7. Review the information and submit the request.

After a successful submission, the agency can use the supplied details to contact you. Sending the form does not create a listing, booking, agency agreement or payment.

What the agency receives

The agency can see the information supplied with the request, including:

  • Your name and the submission date
  • Property address
  • Email address and phone number
  • Sales or lettings request type
  • Property type and valuation reason
  • The current request status shown in Matchouse

Provide accurate details so the agency can understand the enquiry before contacting you.

Manage valuation requests as an Estate Agency

  1. Switch to the relevant Estate Agency role.
  2. Open Marketplace.
  3. Choose Valuation requests.
  4. Use All, Sales or Lettings to narrow the list.
  5. Open or review the request details, then use the supplied email address or phone number to follow up.

Requests are paginated when the list grows. Keep notes and customer information in approved business systems and give access only to team members who need it.

Understanding request status

A request can show a status such as New, Contacted or Closed. Treat the status as a workflow indicator. It does not guarantee that the person will instruct the agency or that the property will be listed.

Privacy and safe follow-up

  • Use the contact information only for the valuation enquiry and a legitimate related relationship.
  • Confirm the person’s preferred contact method and availability.
  • Do not publish the address or contact details in a public post.
  • Verify authority before discussing or marketing a property.
  • Do not ask for passwords, security codes or full payment-card details.

Troubleshooting

The request form does not submit

Check that every required contact and property field is complete. Refresh the page and try again, or contact the agency through another public option on its profile.

The agency cannot find a request

Confirm the agency is using the correct Estate Agency role and the correct Sales, Lettings or All filter. The person who submitted the request should also confirm that it was sent from the intended agency profile.

No requests are visible

The empty state means no matching valuation requests are currently available for that agency and filter.
