How Reviews Work on Matchouse
Learn how to leave, receive and invite genuine Matchouse reviews, how team attribution works and how reviews support trust.
Last updated About 1 month ago
Matchouse reviews help people learn from genuine customer experiences. A review can include a rating, written feedback and relevant experience details shown by the review form.
Reviews support informed decisions, but a rating is not a guarantee of future work and Matchouse does not guarantee that reviews will improve profile placement or bookings.
Who can receive reviews
Supported Service Professional and Professional Business profiles can receive public reviews. A review may come from a completed booking, a service experience or an invitation sent by the professional.
For a Professional Business, the review invitation can be connected to the individual professional who completed the work. This keeps feedback associated with the right person while also supporting the wider business profile where applicable.
Leave a review
- Open the review invitation or the available review action for the completed experience.
- Confirm the professional, business or service being reviewed.
- Choose the rating.
- Add clear written feedback.
- Select any relevant experience tags shown in the form.
- Review the details and submit.
Write about work you directly experienced. Useful reviews describe what was delivered, communication, reliability and the outcome without including private information.
Invite a customer to review you
Open the review invitation area for your professional or business profile, then create or copy the review link. Matchouse can generate a shorter link that is easier to share.
Send the link only to a genuine customer who can describe a real experience. Do not offer rewards for a particular score or ask someone to review work they did not receive.
Review invitation allowances
Professional and Professional Business profiles can send up to 10 review invitations over the lifetime of the profile without an active plan. An active Pro or Business plan includes 60 review invitations each month.
The current allowance is shown in Matchouse. A plan does not guarantee that an invited customer will submit a review.
Reviews for business team members
When a business team member has their own Service Professional profile, Matchouse can attribute the invitation and review journey to that professional. Choose the correct team member before sharing the link.
Accurate attribution helps customers understand who delivered the service and keeps professional reputation connected to the right profile.
Responding to feedback
If a response option is available, keep the reply factual and professional.
- Thank the customer for useful feedback.
- Address the experience without sharing private booking or payment details.
- Explain a correction calmly if needed.
- Move account-specific support to a private channel.
Do not pressure a reviewer to change an honest opinion.
Report a review
Report a review when it appears to be fake, abusive, unrelated to a genuine experience or in breach of Matchouse policies. Disagreement with a rating alone is not normally enough to remove a review.
Matchouse may review the available account and activity information when assessing a report. Outcomes and timings can vary by case.
Build a trustworthy review history
- Invite customers soon after completed work.
- Use the professional or team member who delivered the service.
- Ask for an honest review, not a specific rating.
- Keep services and booking information accurate.
- Respond to feedback constructively.
Authentic recent feedback is more useful than a high volume of low-context reviews.
Connect existing Google reviews
Eligible Service Professional, Professional Business and Estate Agency profiles can connect the correct Google Business Profile, import its reviews and sync later changes. Imported feedback stays identified as Google-sourced. See Connect and Sync Google Reviews.
Dispute a Matchouse review
If a Matchouse review may be false, abusive, unrelated or otherwise unsuitable, open it from your Reviews area and use Raise dispute. Provide a specific reason and relevant evidence rather than disputing a review only because the rating is disappointing. See Raise and Track a Review Dispute.
