Report a Child-Safety Concern on Matchouse

Report grooming, exploitation, unsafe interactions or other child-safety concerns securely and understand what happens next.

Use Matchouse’s dedicated child-safety form when you see a profile, message, conversation, property listing, service listing or other activity that may put a child at risk. These reports enter a high-priority safety queue.

If a child is in immediate danger

Contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. A Matchouse report is not a replacement for emergency help. After contacting the appropriate service, return to Matchouse and report the relevant account or content.

What you can report

Choose the concern type that most closely matches what you saw:

  • Child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Inappropriate interaction with a minor
  • Sexual content involving a minor
  • Grooming
  • Another child-safety concern

Submit a child-safety report

  1. Open Account settings and choose Child safety, or use a child-safety report action shown beside relevant content.
  2. Select the closest concern type.
  3. Choose where it happened: a profile or account, message or conversation, property or service listing, or somewhere else.
  4. Add the content reference if it is available. This may be filled automatically when you report directly from content.
  5. Describe what you saw, who or what was involved, and where the safety team can find it.
  6. Submit the report securely.

Your description must contain enough information for the safety team to locate and assess the concern. Use factual details and identifiers rather than assumptions.

Do not collect or redistribute illegal material

Do not download, save, forward, copy or re-upload suspected child sexual abuse material. A content location, account or message reference and a clear description are enough. You do not need to investigate or collect more evidence yourself.

What happens next

  • The report is added to Matchouse’s high-priority safety queue.
  • You receive a report reference after a successful submission.
  • The safety team uses the reference, context and description to locate the concern.
  • Keep the reference in case you need to contact support about the report.

Matchouse may restrict content or account access while a serious concern is assessed. The action taken depends on the information available and the safety risk.

If the form does not submit

Check that you selected a concern type and entered at least 10 characters of useful detail. Refresh the page and try again. If the form is still unavailable, contact Matchouse Support without sending illegal material or private credentials.
